Under the auspices of the Austrian Presidency of the European Union, the European Heart Network and the European Society of Cardiology are pleased to invite you to the European Cardiovascular Health Conference: “Women’s Health at Heart: Promoting Cardiovascular Health and Preventing Cardiovascular Disease” which takes place in Brussels.
The Conference will examine the elements needed for a broad CVD strategy, encompassing both the population approach and the high risk approach. Some of these elements include risk factors, such as tobacco and cholesterol, and risk groups, such as women and people with diabetes. It will present national strategies, thus sharing experience, identify gaps and propose recommendations for an overarching European strategy. A report of the conference findings will be published and distributed to decision makers throughout Europe.
